5:30 – 6:45 pm Resource Fair, Woulfe Alumni Hall, third floor, Anderson Student Center featuring: Cool Planet, MN 350, Fresh Energy, Will Steger Foundation, Minnesota Interfaith Power & Light, Alliance for Sustainability, University of St. Thomas, Macalester College, Citizens Climate Lobby
7:00 – 9:00 pm Celebrating and Preserving Winter presentation by Bill McKibben in Woulfe Alumni Hall, Anderson Student Center. Local experts join Bill McKibben for a panel discussion and announcement of the What I love about Winter video contest winners!
9 pm Bill McKibben Book signing
Parking near St. Thomas in the Anderson Parking Ramp one block south of Summit on the west side of Cretin Avenue (one block from the student center). Swipe your credit card when you enter (rather than taking a ticket) to speed exit times for all. UST Parking. Seating is on first come first serve basis so come early. This event will fill quickly. Live video feed will be available in nearby rooms as needed after Woulfe Hall is filled.

2:30 pm Ski/Walk across campus with MacCARES – Ski/Walk Bill and the Cool Planet Skiers off to the American Birkebeiner Cross Country Ski Race in Hayward, WI. Ski/walk across the Macalester campus through the zones of gloom and doom, into the land of transition to sustainability, arriving at the winter wonderland of our future.
Macalester Parking Best space is the lot next to the Leonard Center off of Snelling, just north of St. Clair on the west side. There is on street parking available too – watch parking restriction signs.
